Job summary

Goodman Masson has exclusively partnered with a high-growth, international tech business to fill a Head of/Group Financial Controller role in Watford. You will own global financial control and drive a major modernisation program, with 50/50 on-site and home-based work.

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a multi-currency group and shape the finance function for the next investment cycle. The role requires ACA/CA with international experience, strong ERP and consolidation skills, and a proven

Qualifications

ACA/CA qualified with a technical grounding from a top-tier audit practice.
Strong ACCA considered for the right candidate.
International corporate environment experience is essential.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end financial control including monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting, tax and treasury, audit, and all transactional finance operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable and credit control; lead a team of 10.
Lead system and process modernisation with a scalable, automated finance setup.
Drive finance transformation with robust internal controls across the global estate to ensure robust, exit-ready processes.
Manage and upskill a multi-currency group consolidation team, promoting continuous improvement.
Act as anchor for complex accounting across jurisdictions including revenue recognition, PPA for acquisitions, and asset valuations.
Partner with FP&A and Commercial Finance; translate complex data for the CFO and PE investors.
