Ideal candidate is newly qualified or near qualification, with strong Excel skills and a proactive approach. The position provides progression as the finance team grows within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or nearing qualification.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience preparing management accounts and reconciliations.
• Excellent Excel skills and data handling.
• Commercial awareness and ability to communicate financial information clearly.
• Organised with ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines.
• Manufacturing experience helpful but not essential.
• Candidates moving from accountancy practice considered.

Responsibilities

• Preparing monthly management accounts within deadlines.
• Completing P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Producing monthly variance analysis and KPI reports.
• Supporting budgets and forecasts.
• Monitoring cash flow and financial planning.
• Preparing board packs and reports for senior management.
• Providing financial information to support commercial decisions.
• Assisting with year-end audit and liaising with auditors.
• Reviewing and improving financial systems and controls.
• Supporting investment projects and ad hoc analysis.
• Working with Finance Director and senior management team.
