Job summary

The First Blue Group is seeking a dynamic Management Accountant to spearhead day-to-day financial operations across the group. You will manage a small finance team and partner with the SMT to deliver accurate reporting, forecasting, and controls to support strategic decisions.

The role offers exposure to acquisitions, external finance, and long-term planning within a high-growth SME in the care sector. Office-based in Stafford, with a focus on rigorous financial governance and process

Qualifications

• Part-qualified professional with audit background preferred.
• Experience in SME environment is desirable.
• Technically proficient with accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance Team to deliver accurate and timely financial information across the organisation.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and month-end processes.
• Support year-end statutory accounts, external audit, and regulatory compliance.
• Act as finance business partner to SMT with forecasting and analysis.
• Ensure robust cash flow forecasting and monthly reporting.
