Zusammenfassung

SURE Solutions, a Nottingham-based provider of CCTV solutions for buses, is seeking a Group Finance Manager to run the daily finance operation across the Group. You will work closely with the Group Financial Controller and lead a hands-on team as the business scales through acquisitions.

You will manage monthly accounts, budgeting, cash flow forecasting and internal controls, helping leadership make sound commercial decisions in a fast-paced SME environment.

Qualifikationen

• A qualified accountant such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA, a finalist or qualified by experience with a strong background in management accounting.
• Experience in a business that grows by acquiring others, owner‑managed or backed by private equity.
• Hands‑on experience in a growing SME where flexibility and covering multiple tasks is essential.
• Strong cash management skills with cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization.

Aufgaben

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts for each Group company on time.
• Explain variances to budget/forecast to help leadership decisions.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and wider financial planning.
• Review financial controls and carry out internal audits for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare information for external auditors and advisers.
• Manage weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts and flag working capital risks.
• Maintain strong financial controls as the Group grows through acquisitions.
• Collaborate with operations to turn sales into cash quickly and improve efficiency.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams and ensure supplier payments and collections are well managed.
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and records are well maintained.
• Look for ways to simplify and speed up reporting.
