Job summary

ExamWorks Investigation Services Limited is seeking a Group Finance Manager based at the Sheffield Head Office. The role oversees the finance function across six entities, delivering robust financial control, high-quality reporting and scalable processes to support growth.

The successful candidate will lead a talented finance team, partner with senior stakeholders, drive commercial insight and contribute to acquisitions and system improvements, including the Sage X3 transition.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with multi-entity experience.
• Strong knowledge of consolidations and intercompany accounting.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management in a growth environment.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Xero and Sage X3.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end across all group entities and produce consolidated accounts.
• Own balance sheet integrity and reconciliations; ensure audit readiness.
• Oversee cashflow forecasting, banking and treasury management.
• Manage payroll, VAT, and statutory compliance processes.
• Partner with operational leaders to drive commercial performance and cost optimization.
• Support acquisitions, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration.
• Drive finance systems transformation, automation and controls improvements.
• Lead and develop the finance team for resilience and succession planning.
