Job summary

BUUK Infrastructure, with its GTC subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Director - West to lead regional growth across the West and West Midlands. You will own growth strategies, build executive relationships with national and regional housebuilders, and lead a high‑performing sales team to deliver profitable, multi‑utility solutions.

As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will shape regional strategy, align cross‑functional teams, and drive major infrastructure opportunities

Qualifications

• Management or leadership qualification or willingness to work toward one.
• Extensive experience leading and developing high‑performing sales teams.
• Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance vs targets.
• Lead and develop Sales Managers.
• Coach sales professionals for succession planning.
• Own major project opportunities in regional housebuilder market.
• Ensure marketing supports BUUK brands and sales activity.
• Maintain visibility of opportunities, trends and reporting.
• Monitor team performance; conduct 1:1 reviews.
• Attend key sales presentations to support outcomes.
• Lead and manage RSMs to maximise performance.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive alignment.
• Identify regional variations and implement best practice.
• Review and optimise field sales structure and resourcing.
