Job summary

Arup is seeking an Associate Director to expand its South Coast presence, leading multi-disciplinary CPD projects and shaping opportunities for clients. The role focuses on developing relationships with local authorities, site promoters and developers, and delivering high-impact masterplanning and transport planning work.

You will lead teams across Arup’s Southampton and London offices, driving bids, ensuring quality, profitability, and stakeholder engagement while growing the firm’s regional

Qualifications

• Deep leadership and consultancy capability in multi-disciplinary CPD work.
• Proven ability to win work and manage client relationships.
• Strong strategic thinking and commercial awareness.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and bids.
• Understanding of the South Coast market and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop client relationships and identify project opportunities in the South Coast.
• Lead bidding and delivering projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support development of team members and promote thought leadership.
• Grow Arup's presence and profile across the South Coast.
• Collaborate with Southampton and London offices to assemble aligned teams.
