Job summary

Hastings Direct is seeking a data-driven analyst to support commercial decisions by analysing internal and external MI, tracking KPIs and building business cases for change. You will run projects, help set budgets, and ensure timely MI delivery across daily, weekly and monthly cycles.

The role offers a hybrid working pattern with occasional office presence in UK locations, and a focus on data-led decision making to drive performance in a digital insurance business.

Qualifications

• Numerate and analytical with ability to draw conclusions from data sources.
• Commercial focus with understanding of insurance market dynamics.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.

Responsibilities

• Analyse MI (internal and external) and track KPIs to identify commercial underperformance.
• Assist commercial managers with developing business cases for change.
• Run commercial projects and lead initiatives on time and budget.
• Participate in budget setting and re-forecast processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of daily, weekly and monthly MI.
• Hybrid reporting into one of our office locations once per week.
