Delta Hotels by Marriott Breadsall Priory in England is seeking an events coordinator to manage leisure groups, meetings and banquets. You will liaise with hosts, propose suitable spaces and packages, and drive timely follow-ups to convert inquiries into bookings.

The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, coordinating contracts and handovers, and maximizing venue value through menu, room and service enhancements. On-site role with training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar hospitality role.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering excellence in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage enquiries for leisure groups, tours, social and other groups.
• Understand host needs, recommend spaces and provide timely proposals and show rounds.
• Follow up qualified enquiries and maintain accurate pipeline and records.
• Qualify requirements, prepare proposals and follow up to secure conversion.
• Maximise event value through menus, beverages, rooms, and other enhancements.
• Apply pricing, minimum spends, terms and space controls; handle non-standard requests.
• Issue contracts, collect deposits and finalize details for events.
• Prepare function information and coordinate handover to relevant departments.
• Track spend, cancellations and CRM records; attend client events and assist with service recovery.
• Complete post-event follow-up to gain feedback and future opportunities.
• Maintain knowledge of competitors and local market; contribute ideas for new events.
