Job summary

Marsham Court Hotel in Bournemouth seeks a confident Head of Groups & Events to lead our busy events team and drive sales. You will coordinate events operations, liaise with Revenue Manager, and mentor the Groups & Events Coordination Team to deliver memorable experiences for guests.

The role offers a full-time position, regular Monday–Friday hours with occasional Saturdays, and opportunities for growth within a family-owned, community-focused hotel on the East Cliff with sea views.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of sales within hospitality and events.
• Strong leadership and communication skills across teams.
• Experience coordinating large groups and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales within the hospitality and tourism sectors.
• Plan and coordinate comprehensive events operations.
• Lead the Groups & Events Coordination Team and mentor staff.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Manager to identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure effective dissemination of event details across all stakeholders.
