Job summary

Leonardo Hotels is seeking a Groups Coordinator to support a cluster of hotels by handling all enquiries for group visits efficiently. You will identify sales leads, prepare reservations and ensure payments are collected ahead of check-in, while maintaining strong relationships with customers across the UK & Europe.

The role emphasises excellent communication, organisation and a proactive, resilient approach to a fast-paced hospitality environment with clear progression and training

Responsibilities

• Identify sales leads for future business and relay to Sales team.
• Send weekly reservations reports to hotels in your cluster with all details.
• Input rooming lists and confirm details with customers; attention to detail is key.
• Ensure payment is received from customers before check-in date.
• Load group offers and reservations into the system (Opera) and maintain data accuracy.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of the Leonardo Hotels brand and product.

As a Groups Coordinator, you'll be making all the difference to the business, so we want you to bring your dynamic personality to work with you every day. Take a deep breath because you'll be stepping into a busy role! You'll be supporting a cluster of hotels to ensure that all customer enquiries for group visits are dealt with in an efficient manner.

Here are some of the key responsibilities as Groups Coordinator:

• Identifying sales leads for future business, and communicating these with the Sales team
• Sending weekly reservations reports to the hotels in your cluster to ensure they are expecting your customers and have all the details of their visit to hand
• Inputting rooming lists and confirm the details with your customers - attention to detail is key!
• Ensuring payment is made by your customers prior to check-in date
• Loading group offers and reservations into our system - we use Opera so it's brilliant if you already have experience with it!
• Developing a thorough knowledge of the Leonardo Hotels brand and product
