As Group Tax Manager, you will lead all aspects of tax reporting and compliance across the Group. You will support tax-related projects, contribute to strategic initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in tax systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead tax reporting for group statutory financial statements (interim and year-end).
- Manage tax compliance activities in the UK, Mauritius, and UAE, including tax returns and payments.
- Support tax-related aspects of group projects and strategic initiatives.
- Handle tax audits and enquiries, including liaising with tax authorities.
- Lead process and technology improvements for timely, accurate tax reporting.
- Conduct tax due diligence and assess structuring opportunities for new markets.
- Coordinate tax inputs for financial modelling and IFRS-compliant disclosures.
- Develop and enhance internal procedures for efficient tax operations.
- Support the implementation of tax functions in new operating markets.
Candidate Profile
Required:
- Degree-qualified with a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or Chartered Tax Advisor).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in taxation/finance, with at least 1–2 years post-qualification.
- Strong understanding of international tax, tax accounting, and group reporting under IFRS.
- Background in a Big 4 firm or within the tax/finance function of a listed company.
- Working knowledge of corporate income tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and withholding tax.
- Proficiency in French.
- Experience with stakeholders and project management.
- Exposure to KPI reporting and business consulting.
