Job summary

Vadella Bidco Ltd is seeking a Group Head of Talent Acquisition (FTC) to lead the recruitment delivery across the group. You will personally own the group hiring plan and manage a TA coordinator team, collaborating with operating companies and senior leadership to hire field and technical specialists.

This hybrid London-based role involves partnering with MDs and hiring managers, shaping talent strategy, and ensuring a superior candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Strong recruitment experience, in-house or agency, including leading or coaching others.
• Track record of recruiting field-based, technical or skilled trade roles in candidate-short markets.
• Creative sourcing that went beyond job boards and paid off.
• Confidence working with senior leaders, including holding hiring managers to account.
• Comfortable using data to manage a pipeline and report on progress.

Responsibilities

• Own the group hiring plan end to end and deliver against it, working with Managing Directors and hiring managers across operating companies.
• Recruit for your own roles, with a focus on field and technical specialists.
• Keep hiring moving at pace, from brief through to offer and start date.
• Find and attract candidates beyond the usual channels, including local communities, referrals, training routes and ex-forces networks.
• Build talent pools ahead of need rather than starting from scratch every time a role opens.
• Bring market insight on salary, availability and what candidates care about.
