An established industry player in real estate asset management is seeking a Group Reporting Manager for an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with a strong likelihood of transitioning to a permanent role. Group Reporting Manager | £80,000-£85,000 | 6-Month FTC (Temp to Perm) | Immediate Start
A leading real estate asset management business with over £2bn in assets under management is looking to hire a Group Reporting Manager on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with a strong likelihood of transitioning to a permanent role. The company manages a diverse UK property portfolio, offering a dynamic and fast-paced working environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong property experience to join a high-performing finance team during a period of exciting transformation and continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of quarterly and year-end management accounts
* Preparation of annual statutory accounts
* Analyse management account variances against budget, prior year, and forecast
* Provide insightful commentary on property account variances
* Review balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts
* Prepare lease incentives and rental recognition workings
* Ensure compliance for corporation tax, CIS, and VAT returns
* Preparation of quarterly Group reporting packs
* Manage monthly cash drawdowns
* Oversee bank reconciliations and collate monthly bank reporting
* Post journals and support annual budget preparation
* Get involved in ad hoc projects, including systems improvements and control analysis
Experience & Skills Required:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
* Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience within the property sector
* Strong understanding of management and statutory reporting, including group consolidations
* Excellent technical accounting knowledge
* Confident handling variance analysis and commentary
* Highly proficient with Excel (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, Pivot Tables)
* Exposure to multiple accounting systems - experience with property-specific software a plus (e.g. Bluebox or Tramps)
* Able to work independently, manage multiple workstreams, and meet tight deadlines

Working Pattern:
* Hybrid: 4 days in-office for the first 6 months, reducing to 3 days thereafter
