Job summary

Travelodge is seeking a Group Reporting Accountant to support external financial reporting, statutory accounts, tax and month-end accounting. You will work closely with the Group Reporting Manager and finance teams to own a varied portfolio, including journals, reconciliations and consolidation of overseas entities.

You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent, with experience in financial reporting, and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
• Experience in financial accounting or reporting.
• Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journals, reconciliations and management accounts.
• Support VAT and corporation tax returns.
• Assist with statutory audits and consolidation of overseas entities.
• Collaborate with Group Reporting Manager and CFO teams.
• Develop leadership experience with a Balance Sheet Control Accountant reporting into you.

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
