Jobtailor in the United Kingdom seeks a Senior MI & FP&A specialist to lead the production and improvement of management information, including board reporting, budgets and reforecasts.

You will manage large datasets, drive reporting automation, optimise the DataRails consolidation, and embed controls with audit trails while collaborating across Finance teams.

Qualifications

Background in Management Information (MI) reporting, FP&A, finance systems or data-focused roles.
Strong control mindset with audit-ready reporting for senior stakeholders.
Understanding data governance, structures, reconciliations and audit trails.
Advanced Excel skills with large, multi-system data analysis.
Experience supporting reporting automation or finance system implementations.
Analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities.
Structured collaboration across Finance, IT, HR and operations.
Proactive, improvement-oriented mindset and process-champion.
Professional accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).

Responsabilités

Lead MI production, reporting automation and data governance.
Ensure outputs are accurate, timely and clearly owned with documented controls.
Collaborate with Finance partners and country teams to meet reporting needs.
Manage large datasets from multiple systems; ensure validation and reconciliation.
Design dashboards and templates aligned to business requirements.

Description du poste

• Leading the production and continuous improvement of Group MI, including management accounts, Board reporting, country packs, budgets and reforecasts.
• Ensuring reporting outputs are accurate, consistent and timely, with clear ownership, defined processes and appropriate controls.
• Working closely with Finance Business Partners, country finance teams and senior stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver MI that supports effective decision-making.
• Managing large, complex datasets from multiple systems, ensuring they are structured, validated and reconciled.
• Owning and designing reporting automation and reducing manual processes across reporting workflows.
• Supporting optimisation of our consolidation tool DataRails to drive reporting efficiency.
• Developing clear reporting structures, dashboards and templates aligned to business needs.
• Embedding best practice across MI production, including controls, documentation and audit trails.
• Supporting wider Finance transformation initiatives to simplify and standardise processes.

Requirements

Background in Management Information (MI), reporting, FP&A, finance systems or data-focused roles, ideally within a complex, multi-entity or international environment.
Strong attention to detail and a robust control mindset, with a track record of delivering accurate, reliable and audit-ready reporting for senior stakeholders.
Strong understanding of data governance and management principles, including data structures, hierarchies, reconciliations, controls and audit trails.
Advanced Excel skills, with proven experience analysing and interpreting large, complex datasets from multiple systems and sources.
Experience supporting reporting automation, finance systems implementations or wider reporting transformation programmes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, investigate root causes and implement effective solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, IT, HR and operational teams.
Proactive and continuous improvement-oriented, with the confidence to challenge existing processes and drive positive change.
Professional accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

Core Competencies
