Job summary

HealthHero is seeking an experienced Group Consolidation Accountant to lead monthly and annual group and sub-group financial statements. You will own year-end reporting during maternity leave, coordinate UK/France/Germany teams, and work with auditors.

You will provide technical accounting expertise in IFRS, tax, consolidation accounting and intercompany eliminations, while driving process improvements in OneStream and reporting to senior management.

Job description

• Report to the Group CFO
• Lead preparation and delivery of monthly and annual consolidated group and sub-group financial statements for the HealthHero group
• Own year-end reporting processes during the six-month maternity-leave assignment
• Manage relationships with external auditors
• Lead preparation of supporting audit documentation and accounting papers for the close process
• Coordinate responses from finance teams in the UK, France and Germany
• Lead preparation of the 2026 annual accounts, including key statements and supporting notes
• Provide technical accounting expertise in financial instruments, share schemes, consolidation accounting and non-controlling interests
• Provide analytical review and commentary comparing current performance with prior periods
• Review, develop and maintain accounting policies and processes for compliance with accounting standards
• Prepare consolidation journals, eliminations, group intercompany reconciliations and foreign-exchange impact analysis
• Own continuous improvement of the OneStream consolidation and reporting system
• Deliver accounts for statutory entities at local level
• Own Group and UK tax issues alongside the Group CFO
• Work in a high-profile role with exposure to senior management

Requirements

• Experienced in the consolidation of group accounts and statutory financial reporting
• Strong technical accountant with extensive IFRS and tax knowledge
• Excellent communicator, able to manage more senior and junior partners
• Experience working with Leadership team to interpret ongoing financial commitments
• Experienced in cross-border working with international teams in different locations, including travel where necessary
• Demonstrable experience working in a performance-improvement environment
• Extensive year-end and month-end closing experience
• Exposure to a consolidation and reporting system for financial accounting and G/L management
• Experience accounting for and reporting on loan facilities, including intercompany loans, external borrowings, accrued interest and related disclosures, highly desirable
• Experience and qualifications from an audit environment
• Strong MS Office skills
• Experience of OneStream or Hyperion Financial Management, or similar corporate performance management tool
• Team player capable of working independently and proactively
• Able to seek information from multiple sources to formulate a balanced answer
• Highly organised, able to multitask
• Strong attention to detail
