Job summary

Munich Re in London is seeking a finance and FP&A professional to lead analysis, reporting and performance insight for senior stakeholders. You will develop executive and board-level materials, and maintain MI dashboards to inform strategic decisions.

The role emphasises strong stakeholder collaboration across Finance, Actuarial and wider teams, with a focus on data quality, automation, and continuous improvement within the Finance function.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem solving capability.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in financial analysis, management reporting or FP&A.
  • Exposure to financial transformation or reporting automation.
  • Experience with Power BI or data visualisation tools.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and explain technical business performance movements through meaningful variance analysis and root-cause investigation.
  • Translate complex financial information into clear and digestible insights to different audiences.
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships across Finance, Actuarial and wider business teams.
  • Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders by providing timely analysis, insight and challenge.
  • Support discussions with senior stakeholders through data-driven recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency & data quality, improve reporting automation and improve stakeholder experience.
  • Support innovation by challenging existing processes and proposing practical solutions.
  • Help embed a culture of continuous improvement across the Finance function.

  • Lloyd’s Market experience (desirable)
