Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Group Management Accountant / Financial Controller to oversee financial control and reporting across a multi-country operation. The role focuses on intercompany accounting, cashflow forecasting and commercial finance support for growth initiatives.

The successful candidate will lead financial modelling, partner with senior stakeholders and drive improvements in revenue management and budgeting processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Strong commercial finance, pricing or revenue growth management experience.
• Experience in the Construction industry.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilities.
• Ability to influence and challenge senior commercial stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience supporting revenue growth, pricing or profitability initiatives.
• FMCG experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance and continuous improvement of customer cost & value models.
• Provide commercial finance support on tenders, pricing strategies and revenue growth initiatives.
• Analyse volume, price, mix and margin performance to identify risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Commercial teams to challenge assumptions and support decision-making.
• Review customer trading agreements, rebates and promotional spend to maximise profitability.
• Deliver meaningful financial analysis and commercial insight to senior stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and commercial planning processes.
• Develop financial models to evaluate commercial opportunities and scenarios.
• Monitor customer profitability and identify margin enhancement opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement within revenue management and commercial finance processes.

Description

Key duties of the role include:

• Lead the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of Customer Cost & Value Models.
• Provide commercial finance support on customer tenders, pricing strategies and revenue growth initiatives.
• Analyse volume, price, mix and margin performance to identify risks, opportunities and profit improvement actions.
• Partner with Commercial teams to challenge assumptions and support effective decision-making.

Profile

The ideal candidate;

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from £70,000 to £80,000, dependent on the level of experience.
