Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting an experienced Finance Manager for a well established business based in Weybridge. You will own the monthly management accounts, provide analysis of revenue, margins and profitability, and partner with senior stakeholders to drive commercial decisions.

With ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification and strong management accounting experience, you will build financial models, forecast cash flow and develop KPIs across the business.

Qualifications

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification required.
• Experience in management accounting and commercial finance.
• Strong modelling, forecasting and cash flow skills.
• Excellent Excel and analytical capability.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Description

• Own the monthly management accounts and provide clear analysis of revenue, gross profit, margins, overheads and profitability.
• Analyse performance against budget, forecast and prior year, identifying the key commercial drivers behind variances.
• Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs across the business.
• Analyse profitability by client, contractor, division, sector and revenue stream.
• Partner with senior leadership and commercial teams to identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve margins and drive profit.
• Challenge assumptions and provide financial insight to support better commercial decision-making.
• Own rolling forecasts covering revenue, gross profit, operating costs, cash flow and profitability.
• Support the annual budgeting and strategic planning process

Profile

• Accountancy Qualification ACCA/CIMA/ACA
• Strong experience in management accounting and commercial finance.
• Proven ability to analyse revenue, gross profit, margins, costs and profitability.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and cash flow skills.
• Commercially minded with the confidence to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to turn financial analysis into clear recommendations and actions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain financial performance to non-finance stakeholders.
• Excellent Excel and analytical capability.
