Are you a confident Management Accountant looking to join a growing business at a pivotal time?

I'm currently partnering with a growing and forward-thinking business in North Birmingham that is looking to appoint a Group Management Accountant to strengthen their finance function. This is a full-time, office-based role offering real breadth and visibility — ideal for someone who enjoys end-to-end ownership and wants to be part of a growth journey. Salary is up to £50,000 depending on experience. Applications are invited from QBE, part-qualified, or qualified candidates.

The business is experiencing a period of sustained expansion, with EBITDA growth forecast to accelerate significantly through FY26, driven by both organic development and targeted strategies. For the right person, this is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact daily and grow alongside the business as it scales.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of full management accounts for multiple entities from start to finish
2. Assisting with group-level reporting and consolidation
3. Supporting payroll processing and related finance admin
4. Month-end duties including journals, accruals, and prepayments
5. Variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders
6. Maintaining strong financial controls and supporting year-end audit processes

About You:

• You should be confident in preparing a full set of management accounts independently
• A proactive, organized approach with great attention to detail
• Experience supporting payroll processes would be advantageous
• You could be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), part-qualified, or qualified by experience — what matters most is your capability and attitude
• Strong Excel skills and a willingness to get involved
