Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Group Head of IT to lead a major transformation across a multi-site organisation. You will own the technology function, standardise platforms and govern the IT estate, reporting to the CFO with support from a fractional CIO.

You’ll build an operating model from the ground up, lead a team of 10–12 IT professionals, and drive a practical data and reporting roadmap while managing budgets and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Hands-on operational IT leadership experience.
• Experience leading IT within a multi-site or group structure.
• Breadth of experience across organisations, sectors or challenges.
• Ability to operate independently and drive strategy in a complex org.
• Leads and develops teams rather than only hands-on delivery.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities.
• Commercially astute with Board-level influence.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the Group IT strategy, operating model and governance.
• Standardise Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint management and collaboration tools.
• Drive cyber security, risk and resilience agenda.
• Embed ITIL-aligned service management and continual improvement.
• Rationalise enterprise applications and shape data/reporting roadmap.
• Own IT budgets, supplier relationships and procurement.
• Support technology due diligence for acquisitions.
