Job Description

As Group IT Director, you will lead the strategic direction and delivery of operational systems across all business units and countries within the Group. You will be responsible for ensuring that our IT systems are robust, secure, and aligned with the evolving needs of a dynamic, customer-focused parking business. The next few years of APCOA's transformation journey will also require you to lead strategic IT initiatives related to system harmonization and data transformation.

This role requires a visionary leader who can navigate complex environments, champion digital transformation, and drive efficiency through smart, scalable solutions. Transformation experience and program leadership are key. You will work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and several countries to optimize infrastructure, improve operational applications, and enhance data capabilities. Your leadership will be critical in shaping a modern, connected ecosystem that supports the Group's long-term growth and mobility ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy, Transformation, and Leadership

1. Define and execute the Group IT strategy aligned with overall business goals.
2. Lead and develop a high-performing IT team across all regions and business units.
3. Lead enterprise-wide IT transformation programs, including system upgrades, ERP implementation, and data upgrades. Ensure technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes.
4. Develop and maintain a multi-year IT roadmap aligned with parking technology trends.
5. Develop and manage the IT BAU and transformation budgets, ensuring cost-effective investments.
6. Manage relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and consultants.

Governance

1. Foster the IT team/network across all countries.
2. Establish IT governance policies and best practices, ensuring compliance with EU regulations (GDPR, NIS2 Directive, etc.).
3. Support Internal Audit on IT audits and ensure readiness for external reviews.
4. Develop business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.

Applications & Infrastructure

1. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers.
2. Collaborate with the business to deploy and maintain applications and supporting infrastructure to meet operational objectives.
3. Maintain a scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure architecture, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
4. Drive standardization and harmonization of applications and infrastructure to improve interoperability and reduce costs.

IT Service Delivery

1. Optimize IT service processes, establish KPIs and SLAs to monitor performance and satisfaction.
2. Standardize, consolidate, and harmonize systems, tools, and processes across geographies.
3. Maintain relationships with key technology vendors.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

1. Work with the CISO to ensure data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance.
2. Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Data & Analytics

1. Drive data transformation initiatives.
2. Establish future data capabilities and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, ideally in B2C or business services environments.
• Proven experience managing multi-site or regional IT operations.
• Ability to hire, train, and manage IT professionals, especially in transformational contexts.
• Strong knowledge of IT transformation, systems integration, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and data management.
• Experience in parking or business services is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proven project management, process improvement, and budgeting expertise.
