Job summary

Office Angels is seeking a Group HR Officer to join our busy HR team. You will advise managers across multiple sites, handle complex employee relations and help drive HR projects that shape the business.

You will report to the Group HR Manager and require a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle to support travel between sites. A CIPD Level 5 qualification and at least 5 years’ experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent would be ideal.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in HR Officer/Advisor or generalist HR role.
• Strong employee relations experience with ability to manage complex cases.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and compliance.
• Experience managing recruitment campaigns and onboarding processes.
• Experience using HR systems and producing management reports.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional HR advice to managers across the business.
• Manage a wide range of employee relations cases (discipline, grievances, absence, performance).
• Coach managers on HR best practice and employment law.
• Support organisational change, restructures and consultation processes.
• Manage recruitment from advertising to onboarding and contracts.
• Prepare employment contracts and HR documentation.
• Lead and develop apprenticeship programmes with colleges and managers.
• Maintain HRIS, produce meaningful HR reports and KPI dashboards.
• Support payroll processes when required and manage communications.
