Duties:
- - Provide generalist HR support to the dealer network, including advice on performance, conduct, absence, and grievance issues
- - Support line managers with disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes, ensuring compliance with correct procedures
- - Manage probation periods, contract extensions, and appointment confirmations
- - Oversee short and long-term sickness absence management
- - Assist in implementing performance management tools such as appraisals, succession planning, and career development
- - Collaborate with the Recruitment team to ensure timely vacancy hiring
- - Advise on and promote best HR practices across the organisation
- - Ensure all HR activities comply with employment legislation and company policies
Requirements for the Group HR Advisor positon:
- - CIPD qualification (or working towards)
- - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a HR advisory role
- - Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- - Proven ability to manage employee relations and complex HR issues
- - Professional approach focused on supporting line managers and developing teams
- - Automotive sector experience is desirable but not essential
