Job summary

Insight Select Limited in London is seeking a Senior Group FP&A Manager to join its Group Finance function. You will oversee group-level financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, providing meaningful financial insight to senior leadership and trustees.

The role involves working with finance teams across regions, driving improvements to processes, reporting tools and forecasting methodologies, including Anaplan, and influencing strategic decisions at board level.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering FP&A at Group level.
• Experience in international, multi-country or matrixed organisations.
• Strong technical and analytical skills, including advanced Excel.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and long-range financial planning experience.
• Excellent report-writing and presentation skills, with clear communication of complex financial information.
• Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Proactive approach to improving processes, reporting and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly management information delivery (P&L, cash flow forecasts, performance reviews).
• Oversee budgeting, quarterly business reviews, long-range planning and monthly reforecasting.
• Produce/review financial reports, presentations and analyses for leadership and trustees.
• Perform variance analysis, KPI reporting and performance reviews; identify trends and risks.
• Monitor liquidity/headroom and support planning.
• Collaborate with international finance teams and senior stakeholders to consolidate data.
• Provide guidance to finance colleagues to maintain high reporting standards.
• Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, tools and automation.
• Support development of financial models, dashboards and planning tools (incl. Anaplan).

Job description

We are working with a well-established international charitable organisation to recruit a Senior Group FP&A Manager to join its Group Finance function in London.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making across a complex, international organisation. Reporting to the Head of Group FP&A, you will oversee group-level financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, providing meaningful financial insight to senior leadership and trustees.

You will work closely with finance teams across multiple regions and business areas, ensuring accurate, consistent and high-quality management information. The role will also involve driving improvements to financial processes, reporting tools and forecasting methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of monthly management information, including profit and loss reporting, cash flow forecasts and financial performance reviews.
• Oversee annual budgeting, quarterly business reviews, long-range planning and monthly reforecasting across the organisation.
• Produce and review financial reports, presentations and analysis to support senior leadership and board-level decision-making.
• Lead detailed variance analysis, financial KPI reporting and performance reviews, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Monitor group liquidity and financial headroom, highlighting potential risks and supporting effective financial planning.
• Work collaboratively with international finance teams and senior stakeholders to consolidate financial data and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Provide guidance and support to finance colleagues, helping to maintain high standards across reporting and forecasting activities.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting processes, systems and automation.
• Support the development of financial models, dashboards and planning tools, including Anaplan.

About You

• Experience delivering financial planning and analysis at Group level.
• Experience working within an international, multi-country or matrixed organisation.
• Strong technical and analytical skills, including advanced Excel capabilities.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and long-range financial planning.
• Excellent report-writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
• The confidence to build relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet demanding reporting deadlines.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting and financial performance.

Package

• Salary: £60,000 per annum.
