Job summary

A London-based multinational charitable organisation is seeking a Senior Group FP&A Manager to lead group-level financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, reporting to the Head of Group FP&A.

You will influence senior leadership and trustees, work with international finance teams, and drive improvements to processes, tools and forecasting methods, including dashboards and planning models such as Anaplan.

Qualifications

• Group-level FP&A experience in a complex, international organisation.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and long-range planning.
• Strong Excel skills and analytical capability.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly management information delivery including P&L and cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee annual budgeting, quarterly reviews, long-range planning and reforecasts.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for senior leadership and board.
• Conduct variance analysis and KPI reporting to identify risks and opportunities.
• Monitor liquidity and financial headroom; support planning.
• Collaborate with international finance teams to consolidate data.
• Provide guidance to finance colleagues to maintain reporting standards.
• Drive improvements to reporting processes, tools and automation.
• Support development of financial models and planning tools including Anaplan.

Senior Group FP&A Manager

Salary: 60,000 per annum

The OpportunityWe are working with a well-established international charitable organisation to recruit a Senior Group FP&A Manager to join its Group Finance function in London.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making across a complex, international organisation. Reporting to the Head of Group FP&A, you will oversee group-level financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning, providing meaningful financial insight to senior leadership and trustees.

You will work closely with finance teams across multiple regions and business areas, ensuring accurate, consistent and high-quality management information. The role will also involve driving improvements to financial processes, reporting tools and forecasting methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of monthly management information, including profit and loss reporting, cash flow forecasts and financial performance reviews.
• Oversee annual budgeting, quarterly business reviews, long-range planning and monthly reforecasting across the organisation.
• Produce and review financial reports, presentations and analysis to support senior leadership and board-level decision-making.
• Lead detailed variance analysis, financial KPI reporting and performance reviews, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Monitor group liquidity and financial headroom, highlighting potential risks and supporting effective financial planning.
• Work collaboratively with international finance teams and senior stakeholders to consolidate financial data and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Provide guidance and support to finance colleagues, helping to maintain high standards across reporting and forecasting activities.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting processes, systems and automation.
• Support the development of financial models, dashboards and planning tools, including Anaplan.

About You

• Experience delivering financial planning and analysis at Group level.
• Experience working within an international, multi-country or matrixed organisation.
• Strong technical and analytical skills, including advanced Excel capabilities.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and long-range financial planning.
• Excellent report-writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
• The confidence to build relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet demanding reporting deadlines.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting and financial performance.
