Job summary

Cedar seeks a Group Financial Controller to lead financial control, reporting and operations for a PE-backed digital consumer business. The role reports to the CFO and will manage a finance team of about 15, delivering robust month-end close, consolidated accounts, cash flow and KPI reporting across multi-currency markets.

The ideal candidate is a qualified ACA with strong technical accounting, leadership and a track record in high-volume environments, with PE-backed or growth-stage experience,

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting
• Experience leading a sizeable operational finance team
• ACA qualification from a leading firm
• Exposure to high-growth or PE-backed environments
• Experience in multi-currency, high-volume financial operations

Responsibilities

• Own financial control, reporting and finance operations for the Group
• Lead and develop a finance team of about 15
• Own month-end close, consolidated accounts and board reporting
• Drive accuracy, controls and reporting timeliness
• Develop scalable finance processes to support growth
• Oversee audit, intercompany financing and cash forecasting
• Manage treasury across multi-currency operations
• Lead finance transformation and ERP projects
• Identify opportunities to apply automation and AI in finance
• Support M&A activity and post-acquisition integration
• Ensure tax and regulatory compliance
