Job summary

The Accountancy Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking a financially astute Group FC level candidate to join a rapidly growing, PE-backed UK business. You will report to the Group FD, lead a growing team, and strengthen controls and reporting across the core UK operations.

You will be proactive, commercially aware and able to coach others, while managing stakeholder relationships and supporting year-end audits and statutory accounts.

Qualifications

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with post-qualification experience at FC/Group FC level.
• Proactive and conscientious – someone who enjoys making controls and processes bulletproof.
• Be a team player with ability to coach and mentor others.
• Have excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders/colleagues across the group.
• You’ll be a key point of contact at year-end audit and comfortable with statutory accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage a talented team (likely to grow) and play a pivotal role in enhancing controls and processes for the core UK business.
• Improve reporting and ensure processes are slick and fit for purpose.
• Support growth plans through robust financial planning and analysis.
• Coordinate year-end audit and statutory accounts with Group Finance.
