Job summary

Carl Meyler Associates has been retained by a successful technology-enabled service group entering an exciting growth phase. The Group seeks a Group Financial Controller to lead finance, governance and commercial insight across an increasingly international organisation.

The role reports to the Finance Director and covers month-end close, financial controls, treasury, statutory reporting and acquisitions integration, with a strong emphasis on building teams and wider business partnering.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with senior finance leadership experience.
• Proven track record in building and leading finance teams.
• Experience in growing, acquisitive or PE-backed environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team within a high-growth environment.
• Own month-end close, consolidation and management accounts.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and reporting.
• Manage treasury, cash flow forecasting and working capital.
• Oversee statutory reporting and compliance activities.
• Support acquisitions integration and finance process harmonisation.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting across the group.
• Enhance systems, reporting, automation and MI.
• Provide commercial insight and challenge to leadership.
