Job summary

Anne Corder Recruitment Ltd is seeking a technically strong Financial Controller / Management Accountant for a Peterborough-based professional services organisation on an initial 4-month assignment. Hybrid working is available and a day rate of £350 - £400 per day is offered based on experience.

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with proven experience in management accounting and strong accounting knowledge, ideally within a professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or CIMA)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with management accounting/financial controller experience
• Experience in professional services is highly desirable
• Organised, deadline-driven and able to communicate financial performance

• Prepare management accounts and financial reporting
• Oversee month-end close process and variance analysis
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and robust financial controls
