Job summary

Morgan McKinley seeks an experienced Group Financial Controller in Milton Keynes for a 12-month fixed term contract. You will lead a 25–30 person finance team across corporate, transactional, data, and transformation domains, delivering accurate reporting, strong balance sheet governance, and ongoing ERP automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA or ACCA accountant.
• Experience leading finance teams across multi-site environments.
• Strong ERP and data governance experience.
• Proven ability to deliver executive-level reporting and insights.

Responsibilities

• Strategic & operational leadership of the finance function, mentoring the Finance Leadership Team across verticals.
• Oversee financial control, governance, consolidation, statutory submissions, long-range planning and working capital management.
• Direct high-volume transactional finance oversight across AP, AR, payroll, VAT and PAYE.
• Lead finance data and systems transformation, ERP implementations and automation initiatives.
• Oversee treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and risk management.
• Partner with the Senior Leadership Team and Board to deliver executive-ready reporting.
