Job summary

Morgan McKinley seeks an experienced Group Financial Controller for a 12-month fixed term contract to take end-to-end leadership of a multi-faceted finance function, delivering strategic direction and robust financial control.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead a team of 25–30 across 50+ sites, oversee consolidated reporting, balance sheet governance, tax compliance, and drive ERP automation and data initiatives.

Qualifications

• Senior finance leadership experience in complex, high-volume environments.
• Strong governance, reporting, and statutory knowledge.
• Ability to drive transformation, ERP projects, and data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across corporate, transactional, data, and transformation finance.
• Oversee consolidated financial reporting, statutory submissions, tax compliance, and working capital management.
• Direct high-volume transactional finance (AP, AR, Cash, Payroll, VAT, PAYE) across multiple sites.
• Lead finance transformation, ERP implementations, reporting automation, and data governance.
• Oversee treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and risk planning.
• Partner with senior leadership and board with executive-level reporting.
