A local company is seeking a qualified accounting professional to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will assist the Financial Director, managing a team and overseeing key financial processes, including cash flow forecasting and compliance. Ideal for someone with 3 years PQE experience in an owner-managed environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years PQE experience.
  • Experience in owner-managed business environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and IT skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Daily processing and management accounts.
  • Staff management of a team of 5.
  • Cash flow forecasting and budget preparation.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

Job description

Exciting opportunity to join a local company who are going through a period of expansion.

The successful candidate will report to a ex Big 4 trained FD who is looking for his number 2 who can ultimately take the reigns through careful succession planning.

You will be responsible for (though not be limited to)

  • Ability to help with day-to-day processing and management accounts responsibilities
  • Staff management of a team of 5
  • Cash flow forecasting
  • Budget preparation
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 year PQE experience ideally in an owner manage business environment and who is calm under pressure. Good communication skills will be a pre-requisite along with excellent Excell and overall IT skills.
