Hutcheon Mearns supports a dynamic and growing organisation in the manufacturing sector, seeking a Group Financial Controller for their Dundee business. The company is a £60 million turnover group with international entities and a diverse customer base, on a path of continued growth through acquisition. This role suits an individual with strong financial accounting skills, management experience, and ideally exposure to organisations with multiple entities.
This newly created role offers the chance to lead financial reporting, compliance, and oversee financial operations. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will ensure the integrity of financial reporting, manage financial statements, coordinate audits, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape financial strategy and drive operational excellence.
This role is ideal for a Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with experience in financial accounting within a group environment. Prior exposure to multi-national businesses is highly desirable, along with strong technical accounting skills and consolidation experience. Knowledge of tax regulations, VAT, and corporate tax compliance would also be advantageous.
