Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners is supporting a leading infrastructure and services organisation to appoint a Head of Finance in the UK. You will lead a sizeable finance team and own financial control, reporting, budgeting and business partnering across a major division.

Venture Recruitment Partners is delighted to be supporting a leading infrastructure and services organisation in the appointment of a Head of Finance.

This is a high-profile leadership opportunity within a large, complex and highly successful business, offering the chance to partner with senior operational and executive stakeholders, lead a sizeable finance function and play a key role in shaping the long-term financial and commercial success of the organisation.

We're particularly interested in speaking with finance leaders who have experience operating within large corporate environments, supporting long-term contract-led businesses, and partnering with senior stakeholders across operational, commercial and executive functions.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Finance Director, you'll lead an established finance team and take ownership of financial control, reporting, planning and business partnering activities across a significant operational division.

This role goes beyond the numbers. You'll be a trusted adviser to the leadership team, helping to drive performance, challenge decision-making, identify opportunities and support the successful delivery of long-term strategic objectives.

You'll be joining a business that operates complex, high-value contracts, making experience within similar environments highly advantageous.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to engage with experienced Heads of Finance, Financial Controllers and senior finance leaders who can demonstrate:

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience leading a large finance function, including the development of qualified and part-qualified finance professionals.
• A background operating within a large corporate or complex group environment.
• Strong experience supporting long-term contracts, large-scale service agreements or project-based operations.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders across both finance and non-finance functions.
• Expertise across financial control, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and governance.
• A proven track record of driving change, improving processes and enhancing financial performance.
• The commercial credibility to operate as a key member of a senior leadership team.
