Finatal is partnering with a Tier 1 Private Equity consortium backed Professional/Consumer services business in their search for a Group Financial Accountant reporting to the Senior Group Finance Manager. The role will include liaison with senior stakeholders within Group Finance, UK and overseas finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consolidate and review Group month-end submissions (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, KPIs).
• Prepare month-end consolidation entries and annual consolidated accounts under IFRS.
• Produce monthly/quarterly reporting for investors, lenders, and rating agencies.
• Manage year-end reporting and act as key liaison with external auditors.
• Maintain and update Group transfer pricing models and accounting policies.

Internal Controls

• Strengthen Group-wide financial controls and balance sheet reconciliation processes.
• Support internal audits and promote best practice across regions.
• Ensure compliance with Group financial policies.
• Deliver training and support on technical accounting and systems.

The Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA or overseas equivalent, ideally Big 4)
• Experience working with, or for, a Group Finance function in a large, complex, global organisation
• Capability to understand accounting systems. Prior knowledge of JDE, Cognos or TM1 would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS technical accounting & strong excel skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly-growing environment, with the capacity to multi-task over several on-going projects
• Well organised and conscientious, with good attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be willing to work 5 days a week in London office
