Proftech Talent is recruiting a Group Finance Manager to oversee the finance function across multiple entities, based in the UK with occasional travel to Tewkesbury. You will report to the Group Finance Director and lead management accounting, treasury, payroll, and audit activities.

You will prepare monthly management accounts with meaningful commentary, deliver robust financial controls, and provide strategic analysis to support business growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Experience preparing monthly management accounts with P&L, balance sheet and commentary.
• Proven cash management and cashflow forecasting experience.
• Knowledge of UK VAT and P11D processes.
• Payroll inputs experience liaising with external payroll providers.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong organisational skills to manage priorities and deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts with commentary.
• Provide financial analysis to support decision making and business performance.
• Assist Group Finance Director with board reports and MI.
• Support forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Maintain intercompany reconciliations across group entities.
• Oversee daily cashflow forecasting and treasury reporting.
• Process payroll inputs for two companies and liaise with payroll provider.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with accountants.
• Maintain financial controls and policies across the group.
• Develop reporting tools and improve finance processes.
• Line manage Accounts Assistant.
