Job summary

Anchor Hanover Group is seeking a Group Director, Insight, Strategy & Change to lead corporate strategy, insight, performance and transformation. This newly created senior role sits on the leadership team and reports to the Executive Director, Resources.

You will drive evidence-based decision making, shape organisational priorities and oversee transformation programmes to deliver measurable benefits for customers and colleagues. The role is home-based with travel between London and Bradford.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Significant senior leadership experience within a large and complex organisation.
• Experience leading corporate strategy, transformation or Business intelligence functions.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale organisational change.
• Experience supporting Boards and Executive Teams.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across strategy, insight and programme delivery.
• Experience translating strategy into measurable organisational priorities and delivery plans.
• Experience within regulated sectors such as housing, care, health, or public services, desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of Anchor's corporate strategy, ensuring organisational priorities translate into clear plans and measurable outcomes.
• Provide strategic insight and challenge to the Executive Team and Board on performance, opportunities, risks and future direction.
• Ensure high-quality insight, intelligence and performance information informs decision-making across the organisation.
• Drive a culture of evidence-based decision-making, continuous improvement and organisational effectiveness.
• Provide strategic leadership for Anchor's transformation portfolio, ensuring programmes deliver sustainable benefits and support delivery of strategic priorities.
• Lead the development of policy positions and strategic responses to external developments affecting Anchor and the wider sector.
• Build influential relationships with key stakeholders, partners and sector bodies to strengthen Anchor's reputation and impact.
• Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative, inclusive and values-led culture.
