Job summary

Howden is seeking an Operations Director to lead the operating model, performance and business transformation for its UK operation, with regular travel across the UK. You will partner with the CEO, CFO and Transformation leadership to ensure scalable, efficient processes and outstanding client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior operations leadership within a complex, matrixed organisation.
• Experience in insurance broking preferred.
• Ability to translate strategy into operational delivery and measurable outcomes.
• Strong data literacy and governance capabilities.

• Leads end-to-end transformation with structured delivery and clear benefits.
• Drives adoption of technology, data and AI to improve operations and client experience.

• Owns operational performance with clear KPIs and governance across service areas.
• Oversees operational risk, resilience and continuity with a strong control environment.
