New City College seeks a Group Director of A Level Strategic Development to provide visionary leadership for A Level provision across the College Group. You will drive teaching, learning and assessment excellence and ensure a high-quality student experience across campuses.

The role requires a strong educational leader capable of data-driven decisions, large-scale change, and building partnerships with universities and employers to shape the future of A Level education within the Group.

Formación

• Significant leadership experience in FE, Sixth Form or HE.
• Strong track record of improving educational performance and learner outcomes.
• Experience of managing large, multi-site curriculum areas and teams.
• Excellent knowledge of A Level curriculum development and QA measures.
• Strong financial and budget management skills.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership for A Level provision across the Group.
• Drive excellence in teaching, learning and assessment through innovative approaches and PD.
• Lead continuous improvement to enhance student achievement, retention and progression.
• Collaborate with curriculum leaders across campuses to ensure consistency and innovation.
• Develop and implement ambitious curriculum strategies informed by learner needs and labour market intelligence.
• Manage significant budgets, resources and income targets, ensuring value for money and growth.
• Lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams across multiple campuses.
• Build partnerships with employers, universities and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyse performance data to drive improvements and strategic decisions.
