Job Summary
We are seeking an outstanding and visionary leader to join our Executive team as Group Deputy Chief Executive (GDCEO)--a unique opportunity to help shape the future of healthcare delivery across our Group. In this pivotal role, you will drive strategic alignment across improvement, performance, programme delivery, and digital services, creating the synergy required to lead radical transformation at pace and scale.
The GDCEO is not only central to the success of our organisation today, but is also designed to equip you with the breadth of experience, leadership insight, and strategic perspective needed to become a Chief Executive in the future.
As GDCEO, you will be at the forefront of reimagining how our Group operates--working alongside the Chief Executive, Managing Directors, and system partners to deliver a step-change in clinical outcomes, financial sustainability, and organisational efficiency. You will lead a Group-wide portfolio of transformation programmes, champion the digital evolution of our services, embed a culture of continuous improvement among our 17,000 staff, and ensure performance insight directly informs operational excellence. From driving our financial recovery agenda to shaping a compelling long-term strategy, your leadership will be critical in turning vision into tangible results.
