We are seeking an outstanding and visionary leader to join our Executive team as Group Deputy Chief Executive (GDCEO)--a unique opportunity to help shape the future of healthcare delivery across our Group. In this pivotal role, you will drive strategic alignment across improvement, performance, programme delivery, and digital services, creating the synergy required to lead radical transformation at pace and scale.

As GDCEO, you will be at the forefront of reimagining how our Group operates--working alongside the Chief Executive, Managing Directors, and system partners to deliver a step-change in clinical outcomes, financial sustainability, and organisational efficiency. You will lead a Group-wide portfolio of transformation programmes, champion the digital evolution of our services, embed a culture of continuous improvement among our 17,000 staff, and ensure performance insight directly informs operational excellence. From driving our financial recovery agenda to shaping a compelling long-term strategy, your leadership will be critical in turning vision into tangible results.

About usSt George's, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group cares for a population of four million people in South West London and North East Surrey.Our sites include St George's Hospital, one of 11 major trauma centres in the UK and the largest healthcare provider and major teaching hospital in the area; St Helier Hospital, home to the South West Thames Renal and Transplantation Unit and Queen Mary's Hospital for Children; and Epsom Hospital, home to the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC).
After years of collaboration, our two Trusts became a hospitals group in 2021. While remaining as two separate Trusts, being a hospitals group will help us to collaborate more closely on research, and the development, education, and training of our 17,000-strong workforce.
