An established industry player is seeking a Group Cook to join their dynamic team at a prestigious college. Group Cook
Hours: 37 hours a week, term-time only (38 weeks)
Salary: £22,813 pro-rata (actual salary £19,434 per annum) (pay award pending)
Location: Stafford College will be the primary location but will be expected to work at the Newcastle Campus approximately 2 days per week (to work to a rota as required for the needs of the business)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and hardworking individual to join our successful team. Working in the food halls, duties include working in a busy kitchen, preparation and cooking a range of food items, service and sale of food to students and staff, checking goods inward and keeping areas clean.
To be successful, you will have previous experience of cooking in a large scale catering environment, ideally in education, and have a good understanding of providing healthy eating options. You will hold an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate and NVQ Level 2 Food Preparation and Cooking or equivalent.
