Job summary

PTSG is seeking an accomplished Group Accountant to own critical Group finance processes within a large, acquisition-led business. Based in our Central Group Finance team, you will drive monthly consolidation, fixed assets, VAT, and statutory reporting while strengthening controls and standardising practices across the Group.

You will have ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification and a proven track record in group accounting in a multi-entity environment, with the ability to work independently and coordinate

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with strong track record in group accounting, consolidation and financial reporting.
• Experience in large, multi-entity organisations or centralised Group finance function.
• Hands-on responsibility for monthly consolidations and Group reporting.
• Ability to establish and improve accounting processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly Group consolidation process and consolidation adjustments.
• Drive timely, controlled period-end close.
• Oversee Group fixed assets and reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT returns and related tax compliance.
• Support acquisition accounting for new group entities.
• Coordinate with external audit and assist with consolidation of accounts.
• Improve accounting processes and financial controls across the Group.
