Job summary

TSR Legal is seeking a Group Compliance Manager to lead regulatory, risk and governance across its growing legal services group. You will own compliance, data protection and MLRO duties, coordinating across multiple entities and reporting to senior leadership.

You will oversee SRA compliance, AML procedures, GDPR adherence and lender panel requirements, while developing policies and delivering training to Directors and teams. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of SRA Standards and Regulations, AML legislation, GDPR/UK GDPR and CQS requirements.
• Experience in a legal compliance, MLRO, risk or regulatory role, preferably in an SRA-regulated firm or FCA-regulated organisation.
• Experience liaising with insurance brokers and managing renewals.
• Ability to interpret regulatory changes and implement practical procedures.
• Experience developing risk management frameworks and compliance processes.
• Excellent communication, with ability to train and advise across levels.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory compliance oversight across the group including SRA standards.
• AML procedures, risk assessments and MLRO duties.
• File reviews, QA and continuous improvement of standards.
• GDPR/UK GDPR compliance and information governance.
• Manage Companies House obligations and internal governance.
• Lender panel compliance and accreditation management.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures and controls.
• Provide training and guidance to Directors and senior teams.
• Oversee insurance renewals and liaise with brokers.
• Oversee complaints handling and reporting mechanisms.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement changes.
