Job summary

WCI Group is seeking an experienced Groundworks Site Supervisor to oversee drainage and civil projects across multiple live sites. You will lead subcontractors, enforce safety, manage programme, quality and cost on site, and support Project Engineers in turning designs into well-built, profitable outcomes.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you may operate diggers or dumpers when required to keep the job moving and ensure work is completed on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising groundworks and civil projects across multiple sites.
• Proven ability to manage sub-contractors and site safety (CDM 2015).
• Capable of coordinating programme, quality and cost on site.
• Willingness to operate excavators/dumpers when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead health and safety on site and enforce safe systems of work.
• Direct and coordinate sub-contractors and their foremen across sites.
• Plan and sequence labour, plant and materials to meet the programme.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specs and regulations.
• Close out snagging, maintain QA records and photos.
• Control plant hire, materials and waste to meet budget.
• Resolve day-to-day site issues and liaise with clients and neighbours.
• Keep daily site diaries and report progress to management.
