Job summary

Collard Group seeks a reliable Groundworker/site supervisor to oversee groundworks, lead site teams and coordinate daily activities with contractors and plant operators. You will read drawings, set out areas and ensure works meet safety and quality standards, reporting progress regularly.

The role requires experience in groundworks and excavation, strong communication and teamwork, RAMS familiarity, CSCS card and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundworks and excavation.
• Effective communication and teamwork under pressure.
• RAMS familiarity and toolbox talks.
• Valid CSCS card and 360 excavator certificates.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate groundworks and site operatives daily.
• Read drawings and site plans; set out work areas.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain daily records and progress updates.
• Liaise with site managers and subcontractors.
• Lead by example to keep a safe, productive site.
