Job summary

WCI’s Construction Division is growing, and we’re creating a new Site Supervisor role to oversee groundworks and civil engineering projects across several sites at once. You’ll supervise sub-contractors, ensure safety, quality, programme and budget.

The role involves operating on digger/dumper when needed and coordinating across sites. This is a full-time position with salary £32,000 to £45,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Current SSSTS or SMSTS qualifications are required.
• Proven experience supervising groundworks and civils, including drainage, foundations and external works.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications and check levels.
• Experience managing sub-contractors across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enforce safe systems of work across all sites per CDM 2015.
• Review RAMS and deliver site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate sub-contractors and their foremen; check competency, plant certifications and insurances.
• Plan labour, plant and materials to deliver the programme on time and within budget.
• Maintain site records, progress photographs, and QA documentation for handover.
