Job summary

Groundworks Contractor in Greater Manchester/Lancashire seeks a Contracts Manager to lead civils and groundworks on multiple live sites. You will oversee start-to-end delivery, assign labour and plant, and ensure projects meet time and budget targets.

You will manage client relationships, attend progress meetings, and work with commercial teams on budgets, variations and forecasting. Travel across Greater Manchester and Lancashire is required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Civil Engineering and Groundworks projects (housing, education, commercial).
• Based in Greater Manchester or Lancashire with daily travel.
• Ability to produce reports and programmes for project teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects from start to completion.
• Manage civils/groundworks teams and allocate labour and plant.
• Maintain client relationships and attend progress meetings.
• Coordinate budgets, variations and forecasting with commercial teams.
• Ensure S38/S278/S104 works are delivered to handover.
